The factory radiator in the Ferrari F430 uses plastic end tanks that are crimped onto an aluminum core. This is a mass production compromise that prioritizes manufacturing cost over long term durability. After more than a decade of heat cycles this plastic becomes brittle creating a ticking time bomb that can lead to sudden coolant loss and catastrophic engine damage. The naturally aspirated V8 in the F430 is a high revving and heat intensive engine and every drive puts the cooling system through extreme thermal cycles that degrade the plastic and the crimped seals.

The all aluminum construction also delivers a massive improvement in cooling capacity. Our radiator replaces the weak single row factory core with a robust 2 row 42mm core that is 6mm thicker than the OEM unit. We then incorporate our exclusive B Tube technology which dramatically increases the heat transfer surface area over the standard tubes used in OEM and other aftermarket units.

Our upgraded radiator uses 46 cooling tubes, while the OEM radiator uses 34 cooling tubes. It also includes 47 cooling fin rows, compared with 35 cooling fin rows on the OEM unit. These additional cooling tubes and fin rows increase cooling efficiency while maintaining a direct fit radiator configuration.

Combined with our ultra efficient 5mm multi louvered fins this F430 aluminum radiator achieves a remarkable 15% increase in cooling efficiency over OEM units.
