A Philosophy of Permanent Solutions
In the world of high performance automotive service, you’ll find two kinds of technicians. The parts replacer and the problem solver. The parts replacer does things by the book. They see a failed component, they swap it for an identical factory issued one, and in doing so, they effectively reset the clock on an inevitable future failure. It’s a temporary fix to a recurring issue. The problem solver is the true artisan Ferrari technician. He sees that same failed part not as an isolated incident, but as a symptom of a deeper engineering compromise. His goal isn’t just to fix the car, but to elevate it. He wants to identify the root cause of the failure and engineer a solution that is stronger, more reliable, and better performing than the original.
This is the philosophy upon which FerrariRadiators.com was founded. We are not a parts company. We are a problem solving company, a collective of master technicians based in Los Angeles who, after a combined fifty years of servicing, restoring, and racing Ferrari vehicles, grew fundamentally frustrated with the Achilles’ heel of these magnificent machines. Their inadequate cooling systems. We grew tired of explaining to clients why their $300,000 supercar had a radiator with plastic components that were guaranteed to fail. We were dissatisfied with the quality of aftermarket alternatives that often traded one compromise for another. So, we decided to create our own solution.
Our mission was to engineer and custom fabricate a line of all aluminum radiators that would not only solve the common Ferrari cooling problems but would do so with a level of quality and performance worthy of the prancing horse emblem itself. We believe these cars, and their owners, deserve a permanent solution, not another temporary fix.
Long Term Peace of Mind
Solving Ferrari OEM Cooling Problems
When it comes to factory radiators failing, there are clear problem areas. Most failures occur where the plastic sections meet the metal parts. The vibrations and the heat of the engine are just too much to handle for factory radiators in the long run. We solved these problems with updated designs & improved materials.
Engineering a Better Solution for Service Bays
Our story begins not in a boardroom, but in the service bays of some of the most respected independent Ferrari workshops in Los Angeles. Our founder, a master Ferrari mechanic, spent over two decades with his hands on everything from a classic 250 GTO to the latest 812 Superfast. The common thread, the recurring, frustrating theme across decades of models, was the cooling system. He can still recall the sinking feeling of diagnosing a coolant leak on a low mileage F12, knowing the plastic end tank on the OEM radiator had once again succumbed to heat and vibration. He remembers the challenge of keeping a classic carbureted 308 from overheating in the brutal stop and go of a Los Angeles summer, its original copper/brass radiator struggling to cope with modern traffic conditions.
These were not isolated incidents. They were patterns of designed-in failure. As he explains it, “The goal was clear. Create a radiator that would far exceed the factory unit in every metric like durability, efficiency, and weight.” This was not just a business venture. It was a technical obsession.
The first prototypes were not for sale. They were for his own clients, for the cars he was personally responsible for. They were hand built, tested, and refined in the real world, on the very streets and canyon roads of LA. The positive results were immediate and dramatic. Cars that were once plagued by fluctuating temperatures were now rock solid. The word spread through the tight knit Los Angeles Ferrari community, and soon, demand from other owners and workshops grew beyond the capacity of a single service bay. It was then that FerrariRadiators.com was born, not as a new business, but as a way to share a proven, technician developed solution with the wider world.

Materials and workmanship that is trusted by industry experts and enthusiasts nationwide
American Craftsmanship, Italian Passion
Every radiator that bears our name is a testament to a fusion of philosophies. The passion and soul of Italian automotive design, and the robust, no compromise approach of American craftsmanship. Each unit is hand built, from start to finish, in our dedicated facility.
The process begins with the selection of materials. We use only military grade aluminum alloys, chosen for their exceptional thermal conductivity and high strength to weight ratio. Unlike the mass produced, furnace brazed cores of many competitors, our cores are meticulously assembled by hand. The critical step, the one that defines our product, is the welding. Every single joint on our radiators is fused by the steady hand of a master TIG welder.
The end tanks, the core, the mounting brackets, and the sensor ports are all joined through the TIG welding process, creating a single, incredibly strong, and completely leak proof structure. This painstaking process is why we can confidently offer a 5 year warranty. It is the antithesis of the cost cutting epoxy seals and crimped plastic end tanks found on OEM units.
This is the art of fabrication. It is a slow, expensive, and difficult process, but it is the only way to build a custom radiator that meets our standards. It is the only way to build a radiator that we, as Ferrari technicians, would be confident installing in our own vehicles. This commitment to quality is not just a selling point. It is the core of our identity.

The FerrariRadiators.com Difference
When you are evaluating a critical component like a radiator, understanding the technical differences is paramount. The market is filled with options, from cheap, mass produced aftermarket parts to the deceptively expensive OEM units. Here is a clear, technical breakdown of why our radiators represent the only true, no compromise solution for your Ferrari.
Construction: All Aluminum vs. Plastic/Epoxy
The primary failure point on an OEM Ferrari radiator is the bond between the aluminum core and the plastic end tanks. Using rubber gaskets and epoxy, this joint is destined to fail from constant heat cycles that make the plastic brittle. Many cheap aftermarket options use this same flawed construction. Our solution is simple: we use 100% all aluminum construction. The end tanks are made from the same high grade aluminum as the core and are TIG welded in place, creating a monolithic structure that is impervious to the heat and vibration that destroys OEM units.
Welding: TIG Welded vs. Furnace Brazed/Epoxy
Many aftermarket aluminum radiators use a furnace brazing process for the entire assembly, which is efficient for mass production but can leave behind flux that can restrict flow. Others still use epoxy in hidden joints to cut costs. At FerrariRadiators.com, every structural joint is hand TIG welded. This method produces the strongest, cleanest, and most reliable welds possible, ensuring a lifetime of leak proof performance.
Design: Technician Led vs. Accountant Led
The OEM design is often a compromise between cooling efficiency and manufacturing cost. The goal is to be “good enough” to last through the warranty period. Our design is led by technicians with decades of experience. Our only goals are maximum performance and absolute reliability. We add features like our exclusive B-Tube technology and reinforced mounting points not because they are cheap, but because we know they are necessary for a vehicle of this caliber.
Origin: Engineered in Los Angeles vs. Mass Produced Overseas
Many competitors design and manufacture their products overseas to the lowest bidder, with little understanding of the real world conditions the product will face. Our products are designed and tested Los Angeles, California, engineered from the ground up to solve the specific Ferrari cooling problems we see every day in our own workshop and on the demanding local roads.
Warranty: Multi Year vs. Limited
OEM and competitors typically offer a 1 or 2 year limited warranty, acknowledging the finite lifespan of their construction methods. We offer a 5 year warranty on manufacturing defects. This is our testament to the quality of our materials and the skill of our craftsmen. We build our radiators to last for years in your Ferrari, and we stand behind that promise.
These key differences are not just a list of features. They are a summary of our core philosophy. We believe that the owners of these incredible machines should not have to accept compromises on critical components. Our company was founded to eliminate those compromises, providing a solution that is not just a replacement, but a true and lasting upgrade. When you choose FerrariRadiators.com, you are choosing a product born from passion, proven by performance, and backed by the confidence of the technicians who build it.
A Permanent Upgrade in Cooling Reliability
We believe a car with Italian passion deserves American made precision. That's why every custom Ferrari radiator we build is hand TIG welded. We don't use epoxy, we don't use plastic, and we don't compromise. This commitment to craftsmanship is why we can offer a lifetime warranty with confidence. It's not just a radiator. It's a promise of quality, hand built by experts.
