The original Ferrari FF radiator uses an aluminum core with plastic end tanks. Like many plastic tank aluminum radiators, this construction can become vulnerable as the vehicle ages. The radiator’s inlet and outlet necks are especially important during inspection and hose service. The all aluminum design is a significant change from the factory radiator’s aluminum core and plastic tank layout. It improves the radiator’s resistance to the deterioration associated with aging plastic tanks and bonded hose fittings.
